When enquiries come in as free text, someone has to read each one to work out what the job is, how urgent it is and whether it is in your area, and then write a reply. AI enquiry sorting does the first pass for you. Each new enquiry is read by a large language model, which tags it with the type of job, how urgent it sounds and the area it is in, using the categories you give us. It also writes a draft reply in your voice, based on the enquiry and your own information. Everything shows in your enquiry list, so an emergency leak stands out from a quote for next spring. Nothing is sent to the customer until you have read the draft, changed what you want and pressed send. AI can misread things, which is exactly why you stay in charge. AI enquiry sorting can be added to any plan (Monthly, Own It or Pro), priced on your call, and comes as standard on Pro.

## How it works

1. **We set your categories** - You tell us your job types, what counts as urgent and the areas you cover. We set the AI up to tag enquiries using exactly those labels.
2. **Each enquiry is read and tagged** - When an enquiry arrives, the AI reads it and adds tags for job type, urgency and area. They appear in your enquiry list so you can sort and filter at a glance.
3. **A reply is drafted** - The AI writes a draft reply in your voice, using your services, hours and published prices, and flags anything it could not answer for you to fill in.
4. **You approve before it sends** - You read the draft, edit it as you like and send it. Nothing goes to a customer automatically, and you can change any tag the AI got wrong.

## Why it matters

- **Urgent jobs do not get buried** - Tagging urgency means a burst pipe or a lockout stands out straight away, instead of sitting below a dozen routine quote requests.
- **Less time writing replies** - Starting from a sensible draft is much quicker than a blank email, especially on your phone at the end of a long day.
- **You keep the final word** - Every reply is checked and sent by you, so customers get your judgement and your prices, with the AI doing the donkey work in the background.

## Questions

### Does the AI reply to my customers automatically?

No, the AI only prepares a draft. Every reply is read, edited if needed and sent by you. We build it that way deliberately, because AI can misread an enquiry and you should always have the final say.

### What if the AI tags an enquiry wrongly?

You can change any tag in your enquiry list with a tap. If it keeps getting a certain kind of enquiry wrong, tell us and we adjust its instructions and categories.

### Is my customers' data safe with AI?

Enquiries are processed by an AI provider under a data processing agreement, only to tag them and draft replies, and are not used to train public models. It is covered in your privacy policy, which we update when this is added.

### Which plans can have AI enquiry sorting?

Any plan. AI enquiry sorting can be added to Monthly, Own It or Pro, priced on your call, and comes as standard on Pro.
