# A polite nudge on every quote, without you having to remember

> Quotes sent through your website get a polite follow-up email after a few days if they have not been accepted, so good jobs are not lost to silence. Can be added to any plan; standard on Pro.

Plenty of quotes are not turned down; they are just forgotten. The customer meant to reply, got busy, and three weeks later booked whoever chased them. Quote follow-ups deal with that automatically. When you send a quote through your website, the site keeps track of whether it has been accepted. If it has not after the number of days you choose, the customer gets a short, friendly email in your name: checking the quote arrived, offering to answer questions, with a link to accept it. You choose the wording and the timing, you can switch it off for any quote, and it stops as soon as the quote is accepted or you mark it as lost. It works with quotes sent through our quotes and invoices feature. Quote follow-ups can be added to any plan (Monthly, Own It or Pro), priced on your call, and come as standard on Pro.

## How it works

1. **You send a quote from your site** - Quotes are sent from your website's dashboard, linked to the enquiry they came from. Each has a link the customer uses to view and accept it.
2. **The site watches for a reply** - The quote shows as sent until the customer accepts it or you mark it as won or lost. Nothing is sent while a quote is fresh.
3. **A follow-up goes out on time** - If the quote is still open after the number of days you set, say three or five, the customer gets one polite follow-up email, written in your voice.
4. **It stops when it should** - Once the quote is accepted or you close it, no more emails go out. You can also turn follow-ups off for a particular customer with one tap.

## Why it matters

- **More quotes turn into work** - A timely, polite reminder brings back customers who simply forgot, without you spending evenings writing chase emails.
- **Consistent, never pushy** - Every customer gets the same courteous follow-up at the same point, rather than some being chased twice and others not at all.
- **You stay in control** - You set the wording, the timing and which quotes it applies to. It sends one follow-up, not a stream of emails, so it never feels like pressure selling.

## Questions

### How do automatic quote follow-ups work?

When you send a quote through your website, the site tracks whether it has been accepted. If it has not after the number of days you choose, the customer receives one polite follow-up email in your name with a link to the quote.

### Will customers get lots of chase emails?

No, by default each quote gets a single follow-up email, and it stops the moment the quote is accepted or you close it. We would rather lose a nudge than annoy a customer.

### Do I need the quotes and invoices feature?

Yes, follow-ups work on quotes sent through your website, because that is how the site knows whether a quote has been accepted. We set up both together if you do not already have quoting on your site.

### Which plans can have quote follow-ups?

Any plan. Quote follow-ups can be added to Monthly, Own It or Pro, priced on your call, and come as standard on Pro.
