> A kitchen design and fitting firm with a small showroom and a six-week lead time. Its customers spend months deciding, save photos everywhere, and then choose whoever made the process feel least risky. The current site is a gallery with a phone number and nothing that explains what happens between "hello" and a finished kitchen. Designed and built by Nerdsharks.

## Design rationale

Kitchen buyers spend months deciding and come back to browse, so Tidewater reads like a slow interiors magazine with a showroom's sense of touch. A dark vertical rail on the left holds the wordmark, a numbered contents list with a progress line that fills as you read, and the phone number, leaving the page to the photographs. The hero is cinematic: a moody green kitchen full bleed, 'planned properly' set huge in light Cormorant italic across it, and a frosted card offering the next three evening design visits. The signature is a pinned material scene. Scrolling through aged brass, oiled oak and honed stone swaps the arch-framed kitchen photograph, rises a new giant word, drops in a rendered sample tile of that material and changes the whole ground colour, from olive-black to honey to pale stone. After that comes a six-step timeline with payment tags, a before, plan and after case study, a price list on deep sage, and a calendar of evening visits. Light Jost keeps the small print calm.
