## About Dundee

Dundee has turned a jute and shipbuilding past into a city known for its universities, video games industry and a waterfront anchored by V&A Dundee. It has a strong independent creative scene and an equally strong sense of neighbourhood, with Broughty Ferry operating almost as its own town. Customers respond well to a business that feels part of the city, and naming the districts you cover matches how Dundonians think about where they live.

## Nearby

Across the boundary into the next council area, Cupar (10 miles) is also close. A longer drive takes in St Andrews (11 miles), Forfar (13 miles), Arbroath (17 miles) and Perth (18 miles). Naming the towns you actually cover tells people straight away whether you will come to them.

We are based in Exeter and work with Dundee businesses remotely.

## Questions

### Do you actually work with businesses in this area?

Yes. We are based in Exeter and build websites for businesses right across the UK. The work is done remotely, by phone, WhatsApp and video call, and we will not pretend to have an office down the road from you.

### Does it matter that you are not local to me?

For building and looking after a website, no. Everything is done by phone, WhatsApp and video call, and you approve the design on your own phone before anything goes live. What does matter is local search visibility, and that depends on the site and your Google Business Profile being set up for your area, not on where we sit.

### How do I compete with bigger businesses in my area locally?

By being specific. A large regional firm usually has one page that covers everywhere; you can have a page about what you do in your town, naming the areas you cover and the jobs you do. Add a fast site and a fully completed Google Business Profile, and you are giving local searchers a clearer answer than a page written for the whole region.
