## About Lurgan

Lurgan is a former linen town in north County Armagh, with a long, wide main street and Lurgan Park, one of the largest town parks in Northern Ireland, beside Brownlow House. It is close to both the M1 and the Craigavon development, so commuters to Belfast mix with long-standing local families. Much of the older housing is terraced, with estates and new-build out towards the villages, and trades do well by naming Waringstown, Magheralin and Aghagallon as well as the town.

## Questions

### Do you actually work with businesses in this area?

Yes. We are based in Exeter and build websites for businesses right across the UK. The work is done remotely, by phone, WhatsApp and video call, and we will not pretend to have an office down the road from you.

### Does it matter that you are not local to me?

For building and looking after a website, no. Everything is done by phone, WhatsApp and video call, and you approve the design on your own phone before anything goes live. What does matter is local search visibility, and that depends on the site and your Google Business Profile being set up for your area, not on where we sit.

### How do I compete with bigger businesses in my area locally?

By being specific. A large regional firm usually has one page that covers everywhere; you can have a page about what you do in your town, naming the areas you cover and the jobs you do. Add a fast site and a fully completed Google Business Profile, and you are giving local searchers a clearer answer than a page written for the whole region.
