We never knock on doors

If someone turns up after a storm claiming to be us, they are not. We only visit when you book.

Example review

“They sent photos of the valley before and after, so I could see the new lead without climbing a ladder. Tidy, on time, and the price didn’t move.”

“After the January storm three people knocked on the door. Ridgeline were the ones I rang, and the only ones who showed me what was actually wrong.”

Questions

Before you book.

Do I need scaffolding for a repair?

Often not. Most slipped slates and small repairs are done from a ladder and roof hooks. If scaffold is needed for safety, we tell you at the check and itemise it separately on the quote.

Will my home insurance pay for storm damage?

Sudden storm damage is usually covered; wear and tear is not. We give you a dated photo report that your insurer can use, and we can talk to their assessor directly.

Can you work in the rain?

We will make a leak safe in the rain with a temporary cover. Proper repairs wait for a dry day, because slate and lead laid wet do not last.

How long does a full re-roof take?

A typical three-bed semi takes six to eight working days, weather allowing. The roof is covered and watertight every night.

Book a roof check before winter does.

Tell us where and roughly what is wrong. We ring back the same working day with a time for the check.
