Classes

Six ways to slow down.

Every class has options for beginners. If you are new, arrive ten minutes early and tell us about any injuries.

  1. A woman in a gentle seated twist on a mat in a pale, quiet room
    01

    Slow flow

    Gentle60 min

Gentle, steady movement linked to the breath. The best place to start.

  2. A full yoga class seated on mats in a warm, wood-floored studio with soft light
    02

    Vinyasa

    Strong60 min

A stronger, flowing practice that builds heat. Some experience helps.

  3. Two cork yoga blocks resting on a sage green mat
    03

    Yin

    Gentle75 min

Long, quiet holds on the floor for the deep tissues and a busy mind.

  4. Round bolsters laid out on a studio floor in low afternoon light
    04

    Restorative

    Gentle75 min

Fully supported on bolsters and blankets. Closer to a nap than a workout.

  5. A person sitting cross-legged holding a brass singing bowl, incense beside them
    05

    Breathwork

    Gentle45 min

Seated and lying breathing practices for sleep, stress and focus.

  6. A woman sitting cross-legged with her hands together in a bright room with plants
    06

    Pregnancy yoga

    Steady60 min

From 14 weeks, with a gentle sequence for each trimester and plenty of rest.

New here?

Your first class, without the nerves.

First class £8
A woman resting on her back on a sage mat in a calm, white room
  1. 1.

You don't need to be flexible

That is like saying you are too dirty to have a bath. Every pose has an easier version and we will show you it without making a thing of it.

  2. 2.

    Bring nothing but water

Mats, blocks, straps, bolsters and blankets are all here and cleaned between classes. Wear anything you can move in.

  3. 3.

    Arrive ten minutes early

Take your shoes off at the door, tell the teacher if you have an injury or are pregnant, and pick any spot you like.

  4. 4.

    Rest whenever you want

Child's pose is always allowed. Nobody will ask why, and nobody is watching.

Example review

“I put off coming for two years because I thought I was too stiff. First class, Hannah had me on two blocks and a bolster and I nearly fell asleep. I have not missed a Thursday since.”
Slow flow regular, St Thomas

Example review

“Small enough that the teacher learns your name and your bad knee. The restorative class on a Sunday evening is the best hour of my week.”
Restorative regular, Exwick
