An independent garage and MOT centre losing bookings because the phone rings out while everyone is under a car, and publishing no prices at all in a trade defined by suspicion about pricing.

Carter Lane opens like a car launch rather than a garage. A dark coupé sits in a black studio, and every few seconds a soft headlight sweep travels along its body while the headlamp flickers on. Beneath it, the name runs in thin, ultra-wide Lexend Zetta capitals, like a car configurator. The practical message sits quietly at the top: 'Book your MOT online. The phone is usually engaged.' A yellow number-plate field and a red 'Book MOT · £45' button are always in reach. When you scroll, the car pins in place and the camera moves from the cabin to the bonnet, the front wheel and the headlight. At each stop a spec card gives a price: MOT £45, service £99, brakes from £180, diagnostics £54. Pricing is the main reason people distrust garages, and this answers it before they have finished scrolling. Below come a week-view slot board, the full price sheet with a red rule that draws under each row, a three-step 'if it fails' section and a workshop gallery. Chivo keeps the body text plain, Chivo Mono carries the labels, and racing red is used only for actions.

The first screen feels like a premium car launch, so an independent garage looks as sharp as a main dealer.
Every main job and its price is seen in one scroll, tied to the part of the car it concerns.
Customers can start a booking in seconds instead of waiting on an engaged phone line.
Shows free and booked slots at a glance, so drivers pick a time and drop the keys.
Answers the question everyone asks and explains the free retest before anyone worries.
