An independent sourdough and pastry bakery with a shop on the high street, a weekend queue and a small celebration-cake order book. It sells out of the popular bakes by eleven, disappoints late customers every Saturday, and takes cake orders on scraps of paper at the till.

Bakery regulars mostly want to know what is on the rack and how to beat the Saturday sell-out, and they buy with their eyes, so the first screen is a packaging bento rather than a banner. A dark crust-brown tile carries the headline in chunky Caprasimo, "Baked this morning. Usually gone by lunch.", with flour dust drifting up through it. Beside it, a tall butter-yellow tile holds a Blender render of the bakery's own kraft paper bag, stamped with the Crumb & Crust mark, a baguette standing out of the top. Smaller tiles hold a cut-out croissant with its price, a 48-hour ferment stat, the Thursday pre-order deadline, and an "out of the oven" flap board that flips through this morning's bakes like a station departures board. Further down, each bake is a card that turns over as you scroll to reveal when it usually sells out on a Saturday, with a meter and allergens on the back. A clock hand sweeps from 9pm to 8am as you read the overnight bake. Flour cream, crust brown and butter yellow come from the bakes themselves, and Albert Sans keeps prices and allergens clear.

The shop feels like a real brand at first glance, and the board shows what came out of the oven and when.
Customers see when a bake usually runs out on a Saturday, so they turn up in time or pre-order.
Popular bakes are set aside before the rack is filled, which ends the disappointment for late customers.
Cake orders arrive complete and in writing instead of on scraps of paper at the till.
The 48-hour ferment and hand-shaping explain the price and the early sell-out.
