Around March.
March grew up as a railway town, and the vast Whitemoor marshalling yard, now partly a prison and a modern freight yard, still sits on its northern edge. Around it the Fens stretch out flat and open, with the River Nene winding through the middle of the town. Many residents commute to Peterborough or Cambridge, and a lot of the housing is modest terraces and post-war estates that need steady upkeep. Fenland customers tend to trust someone from nearby, so being plain about covering Wimblington and Doddington carries weight.
Chatteris (6 miles), Wisbech (9 miles) and Whittlesey (9 miles) are the nearest in the same council area. Elsewhere in Cambridgeshire, Ramsey (11 miles) and Ely (13 miles) are within reach.
