An independent estate agent in Exeter selling period and country homes across the city, the Exe estuary villages and East Devon. They compete with national portals and online agents on trust rather than fees, so the site has to make a seller feel their house will be presented beautifully, and make a buyer believe this is where the best local homes appear first.

The site opens as a poster: "Find your HOME" cut clean out of a stone-coloured sheet, with the Exe estuary seen from the air showing through the letters. Scroll, and the camera falls through the O of HOME into Devon, then keeps going: down to a village lane, onto a Georgian front, up to a dark green front door, which swings open on its hinge into a cream entrance hall. Five photographs, one continuous journey, and it says what an estate agent is for better than any headline, because it is the journey every buyer is making. Noto Serif Display, a high-contrast serif with a condensed width axis, sets the giant HOME and the chapter titles in the voice of a country-house particulars sheet; Host Grotesk keeps prices, bedrooms and filters crisp. After the hall, the listings stack like particulars laid on a desk, each sliding over the last, and the rest of the page (a serif "Just sold" ticker, the estuary map, published fees, a dusk valuation) stays quiet so the homes do the talking. It is all scroll-driven CSS, and anyone who prefers reduced motion simply gets the poster.

On the page
The page falls through the letters of HOME into the estuary, down a lane, onto a house and through its opening front door. It is the buyer’s journey, and it is the part people remember.
Location, budget and bedrooms sit under the headline, because most visitors arrive to search.
Each home slides over the last with its price, beds, baths, EPC and tenure always visible, so browsing feels like leafing through a folder of particulars.
Constant quiet proof that homes are moving, and a map whose pins pulse around the nine places the agency covers.
Sales and lettings fees are on the page in plain percentages, so a seller can compare before booking a valuation.
