What is automated SEO monitoring?

Google Search Console is Google's own free tool that reports how your site is doing in search: which pages it has indexed, which it could not, and how many people saw and clicked your listings. We connect it at launch as part of your SEO setup. After that, SEO monitoring means it is watched rather than forgotten. Automated checks look for new indexing errors, pages that have dropped out of Google and sudden falls in clicks, and flag them to us. We then look into the cause, whether it is a technical fault, a page that needs improving or a wider change on Google's side, and act on what we can. Nobody controls Google's rankings, and we will never promise a position. What we can do is make sure that when something slips, it is noticed and dealt with rather than discovered months later.

What is Google Search Console?

Google Search Console is a free tool from Google that shows how your website appears in search: which pages are indexed, which have problems, and how many people see and click your listings. We set it up in your name.

Can you guarantee my site will rank first on Google?

No, nobody can honestly guarantee Google rankings, and we would be wary of anyone who does. We build your site to give it a good chance and watch for problems so they are fixed quickly, but Google decides the order.

What happens if my site drops in Google?

Our checks flag a noticeable fall in clicks or pages dropping out of the index. We look for the cause and fix what we can, whether it is technical or content, and tell you plainly what we found.

Is SEO monitoring included, or is it the local SEO bolt-on?
